LPGA's Kim and Recari Sign with LTC to Further Language Training

LTC’s President, Martin George, Language Training Project Manager and Teacher, Erica Tomasik, and Hannah Perkey, Sales Executive traveled to Springfield, IL for the LPGA State Farm Classic to meet and discuss various language and cross-cultural trainings available to the elite ladies. Here, several athletes signed up for classes, including Inkyung Kim and Beatriz Reacari.  Kim is working to further her verbal and written communication skills in English.  Recari, on the other hand, is taking language classes to learn Japanese.

LTC Closes Communication Gap between US and China

Language Training Center (LTC) recently took part in the US-China Advanced Technology Vehicle Summit, which brought together Chinese automakers and Indiana component manufacturers to focus on electronic and hybrid vehicles. This was the biggest group of Chinese to ever visit the United States for an automotive-focused trip. Throughout the event, LTC provided simultaneous interpreting services for over 200 attendees to allow both American and Chinese to clearly understand all material presented in the two day event.

 FLOW for Project Management

LTC Translations now utilizes the FLOW system for managing translation projects. It provides customers with a user-friendly request form to upload their documents and provides request-specific information such as target delivery date, instructions, required target languages and billing information.

Project managers get access to an overview of all in progress requests, and a flexible workflow builder tool to pinpoint and assign translators and resources for each step in the workflow. Project managers are aware of the status of every step in all the workflows for each request. Customers are even notified once the workflow is completed!

Interpreter Training

We believe that by providing professional development opportunities to our interpreters, our quality of service increases. 

Our workshops often include topics such as customer service, note taking, HIPAA regulations, medical terminology, managing appointments and national interpreting standards. TOEIC Being Offered through Language Training Center

Language Training Center is offering the TOIEC test for anyone interested in assessing their reading and listening skills for the global workplace. The TOEIC test scores provide an accurate measure of proficiency in English that is recognized world-wide.
